IF I WERE YOU, I'D HAVE A LOOK ( CONDITIONALS IN ENGLISH)

Some videos explaining this grammar point :

1.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH3ThwR99LM

2.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-Np7dmvw0U

3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZfx5oM3BQU
( some parts are in Spanish- that's for weaker students . Nowadays If I was / if he was... for the second conditional is accepted, so forget what Phillips says about it)

Some exercises to practise :
There are three blocks from the easiest one  to rephrasing conditionals . You don't have to do them all if you don't want to. (Green - easy/  Blue- medium / Red - difficult )

1.https://www.englisch-hilfen.de/en/exercises/if_clauses/conditions.htm ( identifying the type- really, really easy)

2.https://www.perfect-english-grammar.com/first-second-third-conditionals-exercise.html ( you have the conditional to use in brackets -  really easy)

3. https://www.englisch-hilfen.de/en/exercises/if_clauses/mix3.htm  ( you are given one part of the structure and depending on the tense you have, you complete the other clause - easy  )

4.https://elt.oup.com/student/solutions/advanced/grammar/grammar_04_022e?cc=global&selLanguage=en   ( the same as number 3, but without having any tense underlined)

5. https://www.englishlearner.com/intermediate/if-conditional-test-1-all-44-questions-fixed.shtml   ( very long exercise, 44 sentences. you don't have to write, just click)

7.http://www.xtec.cat/~ogodoy/sac/rephrasing/rephrexercises.htm (rephrasing conditionals. Not that easy)

8. http://www.xtec.cat/~ogodoy/sac/rephrasing/rephrexercises.htm ( rephrasing again.  I'm sure you'll find it easier)

9.http://www.xtec.cat/~ogodoy/sac/rephrasing/rephrexercises.htm ( you are an expert now)

Now just if you have time and you feel like it  , listen to this song in which conditonals are used  and have a look at the exercises.
